Founded in August 2023, NEXXUS 1 is proudly Filipino, with a mission to innovate for disaster resilience and community support. The company's flagship product, the Multi-Role Power Station (MRPS) or the Mobile Energy System (MES), is the brainchild of Raquel Fargas Uy, a Filipino Registered Nurse and visionary inventor. Designed with firsthand understanding of the critical needs in emergency situations, Ms. Uy, who is also NEXXUS 1's CEO, developed the MRPS to provide a dependable power solution and constant communication for those most vulnerable during disasters—particularly those living in remote islands, or off-grid locations with limited access to electricity and connectivity.
The MRPS stands out as a groundbreaking product that has earned patent approval and is patent-pending with the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines. The system has been engineered to be adaptable, reliable, and efficient in a variety of settings, making it an invaluable tool for individuals and communities who rely on stable power access in challenging conditions.
