President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., accompanied by Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Secretary Conrado Estrella III, was left thoroughly impressed during the presentation of the Multi-Role Power Station (MRPS) by NEXXUS 1 CEO Ms. Raquel Fargas Uy at the Distribution of Farm Machineries and Equipments event held in Sta. Maria, Pangasinan.
The MRPS, a pioneering product of NEXXUS 1, is a self-sustaining power solution designed specifically to address the critical energy needs of off-grid communities, especially among farmers and cooperatives. The unit operates primarily on solar power and incorporates the advanced Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery technology, known for its stability, long lifespan, and safety.
Ms. Uy provided a comprehensive demonstration of the MRPS to the President, highlighting its multi-functional capacity not only as a clean energy source but also as a fast-deployable solution equipped with an integrated internet connectivity device—crucial for modern agricultural applications and remote communications.
President Marcos Jr. expressed deep admiration for the innovation, stating that such technologies are timely and essential in empowering rural sectors. He emphasized the importance of energy independence for farmers and remote agrarian reform beneficiaries, many of whom still face daily challenges due to unreliable or unavailable electricity.
“This kind of technology is exactly what we need for our off-grid farming communities. It’s clean, efficient, and practical. I look forward to seeing these units distributed across the country,” the President remarked.
Secretary Estrella also noted the alignment of the MRPS with DAR’s vision of rural modernization, praising NEXXUS 1 for developing a product that directly addresses the intersection of agriculture, energy, and digital inclusion.
NEXXUS 1 continues to lead the charge in localized energy solutions, with its MRPS poised to transform how communities manage power needs in a sustainable and resilient way.

In a significant step towards advancing sustainable energy solutions, NEXXUS 1, a groundbreaking Multi-Role Power Station, was recently presented to the Department of Agrarian Reform’s (DAR) Secretary Conrado Estrella III. The demonstration showcased how this cutting-edge innovation aligns perfectly with DAR’s mission to uplift agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) and rural communities by providing reliable and renewable energy solutions.
During the presentation, Secretary Estrella III expressed deep admiration for NEXXUS 1, acknowledging its potential to transform the agricultural landscape by empowering farmers with a consistent power supply. Recognizing the challenges that many ARBs face due to limited access to electricity, he emphasized how NEXXUS 1 could play a crucial role in enhancing productivity, improving irrigation systems, and supporting agrarian communities with sustainable energy.
NEXXUS 1’s ability to serve multiple roles—from powering essential farm equipment to ensuring connectivity in remote areas—was a key highlight of the discussion. The Secretary praised the innovation’s adaptability and resilience, seeing it as a game-changer in modernizing agriculture while promoting environmental responsibility.
By integrating NEXXUS 1 into DAR’s initiatives, the department aims to strengthen its mandate of uplifting farmers and rural development through sustainable technology. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in bridging the energy gap for agrarian reform beneficiaries, paving the way for economic growth and self-sufficiency.
With the support of DAR and forward-thinking leaders like Secretary Conrado Estrella III, NEXXUS 1 is set to create ripples of change—illuminating rural communities, boosting agricultural productivity, and driving the country towards a more sustainable future.

NEXXUS 1 further demonstrated the operational strength and versatility of its Multi-Role Power Station (MRPS) during the Mayors’ Dialogue held on January 28, 2026, at the National Government Center, where the system was deployed in support of emergency and event safety operations alongside San Juan CDRRMO personnel who were placed on full standby as part of the Medical and Incident Command Post (ICP) structure.
During the activity, the MRPS was configured as a fully operational mobile Incident Command Post, highlighting its capability to support high-level government engagements requiring reliable communications, real-time monitoring, and rapid coordination among response teams. The deployment served as a live demonstration of how renewable, off-grid energy solutions can directly enhance public safety and emergency readiness in large-scale gatherings.
The MRPS-enabled command platform delivered uninterrupted satellite connectivity and integrated monitoring systems, allowing responders to access live CCTV streams, maintain real-time situational awareness, and coordinate field operations without dependence on local power grids or telecommunications infrastructure. This ensured continuous command functionality even in high-demand or infrastructure-limited environments.
Designed as a self-sustaining, rapid-deployment energy and communications solution, the MRPS continues to expand its role beyond disaster response into national event security, emergency preparedness planning, and multi-agency coordination support. Its ability to provide stable power, communications resilience, and real-time intelligence reinforces its value as a next-generation command-and-control asset.
Through deployments such as this, NEXXUS 1 continues to support government and emergency response partners in strengthening operational readiness, enhancing public safety frameworks, and advancing resilient infrastructure solutions for the Philippines.
